For everyone out there who is dreading this year’s pilgrimage to the mall during the winter holidays… do not despair, there is a more pleasant alternative coming to North Central Massachusetts!

On December 5th and 6th of 2009, fifteen local businesses are teaming up to offer local shoppers the chance to avoid the holiday crowds.

If shoppers make their way to all fourteen store locations, they will be eligible to win one of three prizes worth more than $1,500. This year’s first prize is a beautiful grandfather clock that will also be combined with loads of gifts and merchandise from each of the Country Roads Christmas businesses.

Customers are invited to cruise our beautiful back roads as they visit the one-of-a-kind country shops that believe in preserving the old New England traditions of Christmas in the Country.  The farm stands and craft shops participating in Country Roads Christmas this year will offer Christmas trees, wreaths, local food, backed goods, farm treats, hand-made wood crafts, antiques, rural home decorations, fabrics, hand-crafted garments and many other quality gifts.

Imagine getting all your Christmas shopping done with less stress.  By shopping Country Roads Christmas you are guaranteed to make the holidays more fun for the whole family.
